• Woodbury residents turns out to talk to potential East Devon MP

  • I visited Exton, Woodbury and Lympstone and there was interest shown at all three places, however, quite a lot of people came along to meet me at Woodbury and I felt like I needed a box to stand on to address everyone!

EDDC leader of the independents, Cllr Ben Ingham, was present and so was fellow independent councillor, Roger Giles.

A few people had driven over from Ebford and Woodbury Salterton to meet me, after some of my excellent team kindly leafleted villages in this area, over the past couple of weeks.

It was a great morning, I met lots of nice people and yet again picked up the ongoing dissatisfaction with party politics and the existing political situation in East Devon.

I have now visited the villages of Broadclyst, Whimple, Newton Poppleford, East Budleigh, Exton, Lympstone and Woodbury. And the towns of Ottery St Mary, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Topsham, Budleigh Salterton and Cranbrook.

That’s it for my community visits this year. They will resume early in 2015, when the countdown to the election will really get underway!
