• Two ancient oaks for the chop in Exmouth

  • This time the problem is in Exmouth.

During the planning application process, developers take advice from EDDC tree officers on the proximity of their developments to important trees.  But some developers are thoughtless, careless or simply irresponsible and build too close to the trees, which after not too long end up being felled because of the damage caused to roots.

Why isn’t the developer tracked down and fined heavily?

It is quite unacceptable and something has got to be done about it.
