Tom Corcoran of Mallocks Close, who is a regular attendee of EDDC meetings, told me that the letters took him just 10 minutes to cut.

He said he let the grass grow a bit and then cut out the letters, starting with the “i” with his small rotary lawnmower.

Tom put the skill and speed down to many years as an engineer and having to work quickly and precisely.

I am bowled over that someone should think of doing something so creative and different to show their support for my campaign, it is so thoughtful and inventive!

Roger and I drove over there this morning, to take a picture, which you can see above!
