Children at Tipton St John Primary School have spearheaded a campaign to urge the government to more fairly fund Devon schools.
In Devon schools receive around £300 per pupil less than other parts of the country, because of the way the funding formula is calculated.
Add austerity into the mix and you get schools that are seriously under pressure and being forced to cut subjects at A Level, not replace teachers and increase class sizes.
The government needs to recognise that the education of our children are a bigger priority than funding a no deal Brexit.
Congratulations to the children of Tipton School Primary School for their innovative campaign!
