Services are likely to be lost, privatised, or volunteers will be expected to pick up the reins. 

Devon County Council leader, Cllr John Hart will now host a series of meetings with various organisations over the next few months, to outline what services may be lost next year, as a result of government cuts.

This year, there were a raft of funding cuts, including care homes, libraries, children’s centres, youth centres, day centres, the hot meals service, women’s refuges and children’s homes.

It makes you wonder what there is left to cut.

East Devon’s consultation meeting will be held at EDDC’s offices, Knowle, Sidmouth, on Tuesday 2 December at 5.30pm.
