On Saturday 23 March, starting at 11am, there will hopefully be hundreds of people ready to march through Feniton, starting at the appeal site at Louvigny Close, and ending up at Camp Field, where Strategic Land Partnerships wants to build 120 houses.

Organised jointly by the Fight for Feniton’s Future group, and the newly formed East Devon Alliance, there are hopes that people will use the opportunity to dress up!

Ideas such as swag bags, eye masks, stripy clothing, painted brown noses or funereal gear to mark the countdown to Black Wednesday (27 March) when the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) kicks in properly across the country and any local authority without an up-to-date Local Plan will be forced to use the pro-development NPPF to determine planning applications, with its presumption in favour of development.
