• Developer appeals to build 10 houses at West Hill

    20th May 2013 | News | Claire
  • The application is on a large piece of parkland outside West Hill’s built up area boundary, next to Eastfield and includes six affordable houses.

A previous application last year for 15 dwellings by the same developer was also rejected by EDDC and dismissed at appeal on landscape grounds.

All previous comments will now be forwarded to the planning inspector.

West Hill residents have selected land in the village for future development in EDDC’s Local Plan until 2026, but did not support the Westhayes parkland for house building.

More information can be found at the blog link below and I will blog when more information arrives.
