Councillors will determine the application, which is in my Devon County Council ward, at a development management committee meeting on Thursday 3 April, which starts at 9.30am.

The land is a reserve site in the EDDC local plan and was allocated in case not enough sites come forward.

The planning inspector overseeing EDDC’s local plan is due to give his initial feedback on 31 March.

The recommendation for approval is being justified because of ….. yep you guessed it – a lack of a five year housing land supply.
