A trip down memory lane:  Hustings at Clyst Vale Community College

By |2015-04-23T08:13:00+00:00April 23rd, 2015|News|

A trip down memory lane to my old school, not set foot in since 1992! Really pleased to see that it has been beautifully refurbed with excellent new facilities and its amazing field with wonderful views had not changed a bit.

Many thanks to Heather Padden, from Clyst Vale hustings yesterday. Some lovely feedback after event!

Feelings running high at Exmouth hustings

By |2015-04-20T21:51:00+00:00April 20th, 2015|News|

Hustings last Friday evening at Glenorchy Church Hall in Exmouth. There were so many people there I found it difficult to count - maybe 150 - spilled into the lobby, out on the stairwell and quite a few had to be turned away!

The atmosphere was tense and there was a lot of heckling and emotion in the room. Feelings are clearly running very high in this election ....

Canvassing at Topsham followed by BBC

By |2015-04-20T08:47:00+00:00April 20th, 2015|News|

John Henderson from BBC Spotlight/Sunday Politics followed me canvassing at Topsham last week, at Newport Park (fabulous views across the estuary).

I also did a short interview with him about what I hoped to achieve if elected to parliament on 7 May.

I am not sure when it will be broadcast yet.

What a fabulous meeting which took place at Exmouth Rugby Club last Thursday evening (16 April), with around 120 people gathered and many walking away with A3 and A1 posters, plus we received a bucket full of extremely generous donations to the campaign!
