East Devon villages housing consultation now open

EDDC has opened a consultation on the villages plan document, which will form an appendix to its local plan, on course to be examined next month, by an government planning inspector.

A press release has been issued and an email circulated to people who have commented on the local plan previously…. The consultation will end at midday, Monday 10 March.

Developer eyes up Ottery allotments for yet more housing

Residents have been suspicious for ages that Redrow Homes has been eyeing up their allotments for yet more housing, after the developer was allowed to build 130 houses, on appeal in 2012, on land next to Butts Road and Higher Ridgeway.

Around 400 march for Feniton in the sunshine

Beautiful sunshine beamed down on around 400 protesters at Feniton today, as they marched determinedly through the village, from the Wainhomes building site, to land next to the stunning Camp Field, which is threatened with 120 houses.
