EDDC’s cabinet set to oppose National Park proposal

EDDC’s cabinet was, this evening, set to reject a proposal to develop a Jurassic National Park, which would cover the designated East Devon and Dorset areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Public speaking rights on agenda at EDDC standards committee

Next Tuesday’s EDDC standards committee, will debate the current public speaking rules at committee meetings, following a request by independent councillors to review the rules for the development management committee.

New zero tolerance approach for planning committee?

There was more drama yesterday at EDDC’s planning committee meeting, which was attended by hundreds of people - so many, that a large proportion had to be accommodated in another room.
