A desperate message from Feniton

I have posted below with permission, a message I received last night from a desperate couple in Feniton.  Myself and their county councillor, Roger Giles went to visit them and their neighbours this morning who were exhausted after another night of what they describe below.

East Devon District Council’s planning application to redevelop its offices and adjoining parkland, has been recommended for approval, by planning officers, despite around 1500 objections received from residents.

Novel sanitary arrangements for Feniton residents

I was sent this first-hand account of the dreadful problems Feniton residents have to put up with, each time it rains heavily.

Severe weather to last through the weekend

All councillors and parish and town councils received this message this morning, from EDDC deputy chief executive, Denise Lyon.

(‘Gold and silver’ that Ms Lyon refers to are the terms given to the major incident planning teams, which involve the local public services, including councils, police, Environment Agency etc.

Court rules in favour of council over Budleigh Longboat cafe

Two pavements, a bin and a gate for West Hill

December will be a busy month for West Hill community projects, which all seem to be coming to fruition at once!

Firstly, the long hoped for - and almost despaired of - footpath, linking McColls with a section of pavement further up West Hill Rd, will be constructed during the first week of December.
