CPRE: Eleventh hour plea on NPPF

Today the Prime Minster gave a speech on national infrastructure to the Institute of Civil Engineering.

In the speech the PM made reference to highly controversial planning reforms expected to be published with the Budget on Wednesday.

Govt plans will have little or no effect on economic growth

The Campaign to Protect Rural England has published a report, showing that the Government’s plans to dismantle the planning system and replace it with a 52 page document, will have little or no effect on economic growth.
