Planning minister’s paltry assurance on countryside

The media is awash with the Government’s response to the report from the CPRE today, which has carried out some major work on how at risk the undesignated countryside will be under the planning reforms.

Bob Neill’s response to the CPRE’s report (below) appears to skate over the main issue.

After the Select Committee report in December, which slated the NPPF, my hopes were up that the final document was going to be much improved.

It now seems likely that the Govt may continue with its reckless plans regardless of what anyone says or thinks….....

Ottery St Mary Rural ward at risk from new Govt planning laws

The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) has launched a report today detailing which parts of the country are most at risk from the new Government planning legislation - currently being re-drafted.

The warmth of ‘Messy Church’

I attended the first monthly family church event in West Hill in January, and thought it was great fun, but most of all I thought how warm and friendly it was.
